|What are the benefits of using the Scotiabank Visa T&H Card?
- Eliminates the need for travel advances
- Provides travel insurance for flight delays, lost baggage, emergency services, and more
- Emails monthly statements directly to cardholders
- Includes CentreSuite, an online platform where cardholders can view account activity and make payments
How do I close my AMEX card account?
To close your AMEX card account, submit a cancellation form signed by the department head, or email purchasing.help@utoronto.ca with the following information included:
- Cardholder name, as it appears on card
- Last 5 digits of card number (do not send full card number)
Note: an AMEX account cannot be closed if there is a remaining balance.
Can I use Tap, Apple or Android Pay, or obtain cash advances on my Scotiabank Visa T&H Card?
No, Tap, Apple or Android Pay and cash advances are not available on the T&H Card.
Can another staff member download my statements and make payments to my account?
Yes, to add another staff member (e.g. administrative assistant) to your T&H Card account (delegate access), send an email to Procurement Services at purchasing.help@utoronto.ca authorizing the staff member to access your account.
How and when will I receive my monthly statements?
Your monthly statements will be emailed to you on the last day of every month. You can also log into CentreSuite to view statements up to six (6) months previous.
How do I set or change my PIN number?
You can set or change your PIN number by calling the number on the back of the card.
Note: To set or change your PIN, you will be asked to provide your Date of Significance.
My card is lost / stolen — who should I contact?
If your card has been lost or stolen, contact Scotiabank Visa customer service immediately at 1-888-823-9657. They are available 24/7.

My T&H Card is blocked— what should I do?
If your card is blocked from a purchase, call Scotiabank Visa using the number on the back of the card.
