New Streamlined PPEJ Form and Review Process for Non-Competitive Procurement

A new Procurement Policy Exemption Justification (PPEJ) form is now available for immediate use. A PPEJ is required if competitive quotations are not possible when the total value exceeds $10,000.
The new form has a streamlined list of available exemption codes, as well as an easy to use dropdown menu with both short and longer code descriptions, simplifying the selection process.
In addition, a new Information Library article covers:
- Step-by-step instructions on how to complete the PPEJ
- Details on required supporting documentation
- Submission guidelines for review by Procurement Services
Procurement Services will continue to accept the previous version of the form until December 20, 2024.
To ensure the most up-to-date form is used, Requesting Departments are reminded to always download a fresh copy for each PPEJ submission.
