How to process uSOURCE eQuotes

eQuotes allow uSOURCE suppliers to offer discounted pricing when ordering in volume or bundling a number of products in one order.

Bio-Rad

To get an eQuote, contact the Bio-Rad Sales Representative at (647) 217-2089 or at Angela Watt-Shirley.

At the time that pricing is given, be sure to request and record the Bio-Rad eQuote Number.

  1. From the Bio-Rad punch out, enter the quote number provided by Bio-Rad.
  2. Click Add to Cart.
  3. Verify the item(s), quantity and price of the quote and click Proceed to Checkout once you’re satisfied with your order.
  4. Proceed to complete your order.

CDW

To get an eQuote, contact CDW Account Representative Pedro De Amaral at 1-866-630-2392, or at pedro.amaral@cdw.ca.

At the time that pricing is given, be sure to request and record the CDW eQuote Number.

  1. Enter the eQuote number provided by the supplier in Find my Quote field, and click Find It.
  2. Confirm the information in the Quote, including product description, quantity and amount. Once you’re satisfied, click Add to Cart.
  3. Proceed to checkout.

Cedarlane

To get an eQuote, contact Ana Pereira or at (289) 288-0001 x237.

To add an eQuote to your shopping cart:

  1. Click on the shopping cart icon.
  2. Type in the eQuote # and the surname of the end user who requested the quote, and click Activate Quote.
  3. Verify the items in the quote, then click Copy Quote to Cart.
  4. Proceed to Checkout, and if requested by the Cedarlane representative, add additional information to the order in uSOURCE, as outlined below in How to add a comment to your order.

How to add a comment to your order

If you need to add additional information to your order as advised by your Cedarlane representative (e.g. for additional discounts to the order):

  1. On the Requisition Summary tab, scroll down Supplier Details. At the line item level, click on the edit (pencil) icon.
  2. Enter the eQuote number, and/or any other instructions, in the External Note field and press Save.
  3. Click the Add link next to Internal Attachments, and attach a copy of the eQuote provided by the supplier. The eQuote details should itemize the products and discounted prices.
  4. Proceed to complete your order.

Dell

eQuotes and Special Orders allow Dell to offer discounted pricing when ordering in volume or bundling a number of products in one order. To get an eQuote or Special Order, contact Dell Account Representative Joanne Giummarra or at 1-416-758-2199. At the time that pricing is given, be sure to request and record the Dell eQuote / Special Order Number.

How to include an eQuote in your Order

  1. Click on Quotes on the top menu in Dell punch-out.
  2. Type in the eQuote number provided by the supplier in the search field.
  3. Click the box to select the quote.
  4. Click on View Details to open the quote.
  5. Verify the items in the quote, then click Create Order Requisition.
  6. Proceed to complete your order.

How to include Special Order

In some cases, a special order has been requested and a special order quote was provided by the supplier. Contact Dell Account Representative Joanne Giummarra or at 1-416-758-2199 to make sure the special order has been uploaded to the Dell punch-out website. Once you have the confirmation follow these steps to search for your order:

  1. Enter the quote number provided by Dell in the search field.
  2. Select Special Request from the drop-down beside the search field.
  3. Click the box to select the item(s).
  4. Click Add to Cart.
  5. Proceed to complete your order.

To get an eQuote, contact Fastenal Customer Service (Tel: 905-826-0160). At the time that pricing is given, be sure to request and record the Fastenal eQuote Number.

  1. Click on eQuotes on the top menu in Fastenal punch out.
  2. Enter or type in the eQuote number provided by the supplier in Find Quote Number.
  3. Click Search.
  4. Verify the Quote number, once satisfied click Add to Cart.
  5. Proceed to complete your order.

Fisher Scientific

To get an eQuote, contact Fisher Scientific Customer Service (Tel: 1-877-822-3436). At the time that pricing is given, be sure to request and record the Fisher eQuote Number.

  1. Click on Order By Catalog Number in the Fisher punch out catalogue.
  2. In the Ref#: field, enter the quote number provided by the supplier.
  3. Click on My Quote.
  4. the box to select the item(s) or click Select All.
  5. Click Add Selected Items to Cart or Add All Items to Cart.
  6. Proceed to complete your order.

Froggabio

To get an eQuote, contact Chris O’Brien at chris@froggabio.com or at 1-877-318-7277.

  1. Once in the Froggabio punchout site, type in the Quick Quote#, and click Submit.
  2. Verify the items in the quote, then click Proceed to Checkout.
  3. Proceed to complete your order by clicking CHECKOUT.

New England Labs

To get an eQuote, contact Howard Cukier or at (416) 527-2352. At the time that pricing is given, be sure to request and record the New England Biolabs eQuote.

To add the eQuote to your shopping cart:

  1. Click on Quotes (top right) in the New England Biolabs punch-out.
  2. Type in the eQuote number, and click Search, then click Select this Sales Quote.
  3. Verify the items in the quote, then click Continue.
  4. Proceed to complete your order by clicking Checkout.

Eppendorf

To get an eQuote, contact Melissa Votruba (Tel: 416-571-093).

To add the eQuote to your shopping cart:

  1. From the Eppendorf punch-out site, click on Quotations, enter the Quotation No. then click Add Quote.
  2. Enter the eShop Code indicated on the eQuote and click Submit.
  3. Verify the items in the quote, then click Add to Cart.
  4. Scroll down and click Punchout cart to proceed with completing your order.

Insight

To get an eQuote, contact Insight Account Representative Matthew Nicoll (Tel: 1-800-467-4448 ext 8360). At the time that pricing is given, be sure to request and record the Insight eQuote Number.

  1. From the left menu under Orders in the Insight punch-out catalogue, select Quote History.
  2. Click on your quote number in the Quote History section, or if necessary use Quick Search.
  3. Review the quote details, and when ready click Convert Quote to add the quote to your shopping cart.
  4. Click on Proceed to Checkout to complete your order.

Mandel Scientific

To get an eQuote, contact the quotes department at quotes@mandel.ca or from the Mandel punch-out site. At the time that pricing is given, be sure to request a copy of the eQuote.

  1. Search for the product within the Mandel punch-out site as it appears on the eQuote. Once you have finished adding items to your cart from the punch-out site and have returned to uSOURCE, click on the cart total in the top navigation, then Checkout.
  2. On the Requisition Summary tab, scroll down to the Supplier/Line Item Details. At the line item level, click on the edit (pencil) icon.
  3. Enter the eQuote number, and any other instructions, in the External Note field and press Save.
  4. Click the Add link next to Internal Attachments, and attach a copy of the eQuote provided by the supplier. The eQuote details should itemize the products and discounted prices.
  5. Proceed to complete your order.

Sigma-Aldrich

To get an eQuote, contact Sigma Customer Service (Tel: 1-800-565-1400). At the time that pricing is given, be sure to request and record the Sigma-Aldrich eQuote number.

  1. On the Sigma-Aldrich punch-out catalogue, from the Account menu select Orders.
  2. Click Quotes > Quotes Search.
  3. Enter the Quote Number, click the search icon, then click the quote link below.
  4. Review the quote details, and when ready click Add to Cart to proceed with completing your order.

VWR

To get an eQuote, contact VWR Customer Service (Tel: 1-866-279-8181). At the time that pricing is given, be sure to request and record the VWR eQuote Number.

  1. From the left MY ACCOUNT menu in VWR punch-out catalogue, click on My Quotes.
  2. Enter the quote number in the search field and press enter on your keyboard.
  3. Click View to open the quote details, or Add to Cart.
  4. Proceed to complete your order.
